What We Do and Why

Sunshine Pool Company promises to do more for your pool than any other pool company! Below is a list of the work we do and why it is important to you and your pool. You can feel confident that every aspect of your pool will be receiving a complete once over. Also any needed repairs or upgrades will be made to ensure a long healthy life for your swimming pool.

• We will drain your swimming pool with our pumps so you can relax as we begin your new liner replacement.
• We will dispose of your old liner at no additional charge.
• We will pressure test all of your underground plumbing to make sure there are no leaks.
• Depending on the type of pool wall you have we will do the following: Steel Wall pools get hand scraped, cleaned and rust proofed as needed Cement wall pools get hand scraped, cleaned and patched as needed Spending time preparing the walls for a new liner prevents rust and cement from falling off the wall and showing through your new liner
• We will use silicon caulking to seal all wall seams and gaps around fittings to prevent dirt and grit from becoming trapped between your liner and pool wall. Dirt and grit can show through a liner causing an eyesore or damage to your liner
• We will install a ¼" wall foam on every wall to provide a soft, clean surface for your new liner
• We will inspect your pump and filter system to make sure everything is working properly.
• We will disassemble your filter and give it a good cleaning as needed.
• We will inspect all pool equipment and make any needed repairs or adjustments
• We will chemically treat the bottom of your pool for insects to prevent such bugs as termites from eating holes in your new liner.
• Depending on the type of pool bottom you have we will do the following:
  
  
  • Sand bottom pools will be repacked, reshaped and hand troweled like new to provide a pool surface free from debris and indentations.
  • Cement bottom pools will be patched, stone rubbed and thoroughly cleaned to provide a smooth and clean surface for your new liner.
  • Vermiculite or Grout bottom pools will be cleaned, patched and completely resurfaced when necessary to provide a clean, soft surface for your new liner.
  
  
• We will fill your pool with water from your house or from a water delivery company. Either way we will coordinate and monitor the filling of your pool to ensure no problems arise during the filling process.
• We will chemically treat your pool water as it is filling to prevent minerals in the water from staining your new liner.
• We will install new wall flanges and gaskets for aesthetic purposes and to prevent leaks.
• We will start up your pool and ensure there are no leaks or drips in your filter system and that all equipment is running efficiently.
• We will shock treat, stabilize and chemically balance your new water so it is clean and ready for your swimming enjoyment.
• Finally, we clean your pool area and property so that when we are finished the only way you will know we were there is that your pool will look new again.
